From Time: Daylight, 2026
Acrylic and oil on canvas
200 × 138 cm

From Time: Daylight portrays existence, vitality, and the persistent force of life, reflecting a human resilience that remains unextinguished through the fluctuations of everyday experience. Loose, vigorous brushstrokes and spontaneously formed colours evoke a primordial landscape of rocky mountains and clear water, driven by what I describe as a “Pangea impulse”—an instinctive pull towards an elemental, undivided world. Rather than depicting a specific place, these landscapes arise from maeum, where intuition, intention, and reality merge through the act of painting.
